Generational progress starts with one. We help high school scholars remove financial barriers through college preparedness and scholarship readiness programs to empower them to BE the one.
Our Mission Our Leadership Team Our Programs Support Us

             What We Do

Generational Impact Scholars, Inc is committed to helping high school scholars showcase their best academic, well-rounded, and holistic selves to colleges and scholarship institutions, ensuring access to higher education and economic mobility

             Who we do it for

                   **The First Generation Student **

A student is considered "first generation" if neither of the student’s parents earned a college degree at the baccalaureate level or higher. A student who regularly resided with and received support from only one parent who did not earn a baccalaureate degree would also be eligible. Many of these students are from underserved groups and marginalized communities.

A college degree can be transformative for first-generation students, offering opportunities for upward mobility, personal growth and financial stability.

             Why we do it

First-generation students are pioneers of impact that generate waves of change, setting a ripple effect of influence that transforms families and communities or generations.

              How we do it

Mindset Readiness Program

We address  mental health challenges that first-generation  students encounter on their journey to accessing higher education. Our licensed Mental Health volunteers and  dedicated motivational speakers help make this possible!

Scholarship Readiness Program

Our workshops are designed to enhance students' organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills, empowering them to engage with the various colleges and scholarship institutions confidently, clearly, and strategically, thereby enhancing their outcomes. In addition, scholars who complete our program will also be made eligible to compete for our annual Generational Impact Scholarship !

Parent Village Program (PVP)

It takes a village. Parents of first-generation students can play a crucial role in supporting their children’s college and scholarship readiness by being involved and being an additional ALLY for the our programs village. We educate, encourage and inform parents of meaningful ways they can get involved in being part of the village's support system

Application & Execution Program

Following the readiness phase, we enter the execution phase. Our execution approach involves actionable steps that are periodically monitored and evaluated with each student to ensure they remain on track during this final, yet crucial stage of the program.
